At UserVoice, we believe data should be the basis for product decisions and as such it is our mission to provide product teams with the knowledge and tools they need to make data-driven product decisions. We’re excited to announce that we’re hosting our own product management conference this year to showcase cutting-edge product management methodologies, processes, and technologies all rooted in data.

We hope you and your team will join us in San Francisco, CA on August 17, 2017 for BASiS 2017 for a day of compelling talks and insightful sessions dedicated to data-driven product management.

What is BASiS?

BASiS is the first conference dedicated to data-driven product teams and leaders. BASiS is different from other product management events in that it’s entirely focused on methodologies, processes, and technologies for data-driven product development.

It is a one day, single track conference featuring practitioners and product leaders sharing their perspective and specific examples of what data-driven product management looks like in their business. We’re carefully curating every detail of our event to ensure it’s wholly aligned with our theme. Every aspect, from our speakers and content down to the sponsors we invite is dedicated to helping you make data more meaningful and useful for product managers. We’ve of course left time for some fun too, with a hosted happy hour after.

Why should I attend BASiS?

We want to do more than merely scratch the surface on data-driven product management. We’ll address product strategy, development methodologies, delivery and other aspects of data-driven product management more in-depth than any other product management event out there. BASiS is an opportunity to hear and learn from both peers and leaders in product management about the real challenges they face and the strategies and technologies they’re using to solve them.

Sample topics will include:

Why is UserVoice hosting BASiS?

We’ve seen how data has influenced and changed other disciplines like marketing and sales, and we absolutely believe this movement is happening in product management as well. Our product and other emerging technologies are transforming the way businesses make strategic product decisions, so we want to provide an environment for product managers where they can learn and have an ongoing dialogue about how both quantitative and qualitative data plays a significant role in product strategy and the development process.
