Today we’re proud to announce the release of three new UserVoice features: an iPhone SDK, a Facebook app, and our brand-new API. The goal is to make it easy for you to ask your customers for feedback from wherever they are, without having to send them to your UserVoice forum.
These features have been in beta for the last few months, and we’re proud to say that Hootsuite, Ubank, and Payvment are already sporting the Facebook app tab on their pages. Cardmunch and Zipongo recently launched new versions of their iPhone apps including the UserVoice iPhone interface. And the API? Well, the Facebook app and iPhone SDK were built using it, so you know it works.
Let’s take a closer look.
UserVoice Facebook Page App
The UserVoice Facebook Page App installs directly into your company’s Facebook Page, appearing as a “Feedback” tab at the top of the page.
This syncs with your UserVoice forum, and simply requires your customers to click, give the UserVoice app access (a one-time requirement), and voila: their feedback is added, without ever leaving your Facebook page.
The Facebook Page App will be available on all Bronze and above plans starting immediately. However, we wanted to give you an early present for the holidays: Regardless of your current plan, if you add the Facebook Page App to your company’s Facebook Page before January 1st, you get it for free! Woohoo! Double rainbow!

Often iPhone app users give bad ratings just to mention a bug or feature they didn’t like. Stop needless bad ratings by asking them for their feedback before they rate your app. With the UserVoice iPhone SDK, you can build your entire UserVoice experience directly into your app. Your customers never leave your app, and their feedback syncs back to your forum.

We don’t want to boast too much, but our new API is incredibly powerful. So much, in fact, that it powers our new Facebook App and iPhone SDK. We’ve revamped the API from the ground up, and the flexibility of this new framework means that you can build nearly whatever you envision, from a new Feedback widget to a Facebook App of your own (or you could, y’know, use the one we built).
Head to the Apps & Plugins section of your Admin Console to find the new API.
We’re incredibly excited to release these new tools to you and see how you make your products better with them.
