Saying Goodbye to the Welcome Email

It used to be that when a user created an account on your UserVoice forum that they’d be sent a welcome email asking them to confirm their email address. Since users no longer need to confirm their email to submit an idea, several admins let us know that the email wasn’t very informative or necessary – especially since the welcome emails couldn’t be customized. We agree and will no longer be sending emails to the people signing up on your UserVoice account. Thanks for your feedback and three cheers for fewer emails!
